New Activities

The recently formed New Activities Committee is made up of members Wayne Lindahl, Chris Roach, Dave Harrison and Phil Bartels.  This group will have the responsibility of checking with our members for the level of interest in the new activity, identify the local resources available for that activity and if there is a member willing to step up and chair the activity.

Here are some of the activities that have been suggested. If you are interested in any of these contact the listed person or Wayne.

Bridge
Computers
Genealogy
Hiking
Horseshoes
Investments
Ping Pong
Poker contact Howard Blethen
Gardening contact Steve De La Montoya
Corn Hole contact Harold Minkin

We will be checking with our members for the interest in these or any other proposed activities.  If you have an activity you would like us to include, please contact one of us.

Dues are Due

2025 branch dues are now due. We have reduced the dues to $20 and anyone over 90 is not charged. Get your dues to treasurer Garry Trojanowski at the meeting or you can mail checks made out to Sirs Branch 176 to Garry at 9575 Wellington Cir., Windsor CA 95492

Meeting Attendance

To benefit fully from your membership in Windsor Sir we strongly recommend that you make an effort to attend the monthly meeting. We encourage you to make the effort to come, enjoy lunch and be informed by our speaker.

We are aware that some members have expressed issues with dietary restrictions. Robert, the Chef at Charlies has expressed willingness to try to accommodate members with restrictions. If you need a modified lunch please let Tom Palmer know by the Monday before the meeting if you need accommodation so we can notify Robert.

Windsor Senior Center Anniversary

The Windsor Senior Recreation Center will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the center on March 7th from 1 to 3. There will be food, music and speakers. The Senior Center has provided a lot of support to our group over the years so let's all attend to show our appreciation!

Couples Dinner Coordinator

Jim Neal is having to resign as coordinator  of the Couples Dinner. If you like to eat and socialize here is your chance. Past coordinators Jim and Wayne will be happy to assist the new person as they learn the position. Talk to Tom to offer your interest.

Be Friendly

It has been pointed out that we have lost several potential members because they didn't feel welcomed and accepted. If you see a new member take a moment to introduce yourself and get to meet them.

New Members

We added three new members in Febuary. When you see them please make them feel welcome.
